The third graders created these fun tea mugs. We drew the mugs together but they were allowed to do whatever kind of pattern or design they wanted in the mug and the background. We added tea bags with a piece of paper, using string to make it 3-d coming out of the mug. For the steam we used pulled apart cotton balls. They turned out so great!
The 5th graders completed a photography unit and I loved the images they captured out in our garden and on our playground. They had some really unique perspectives. Before we began the unit I showed the students this presentation. The students learned about some rules in photography before we went out with our iPads to take the photos. I also taught the students how to alter their images in Photoshop Express. This was a fun unit to teach!
